El Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Lars Bender and Hakan Calhanoglu.
The Catalans recently appointed Ariedo Braida to improve their technical department and the former AC Milan official is already working on potential reinforcements.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, Bayer Leverkusen duo Lars Bender and Hakan Calhanoglu are among players Barcelona are looking at.
The central midfielder has been on club’s radar for quite a while and it appears the Catalans will come forward with an official bid as soon as their transfer ban is lifted.
Meanwhile, the interest in Hakan Calhanoglu is of later date, with the Turkish attacker having seen his stock rise a great deal over the last year or so.
Barcelona responded well to the disappointing La Liga loss to Malaga having defeated Manchester City in midweek and the Catalans can now be backed at 7/2 to lift the Champions League trophy.
